Getting Settled
I know it’s going to be weeks or months before the real dust from the move settles. The fact that this is the first time I’ve managed to get my computer set on a flat surface and hooked up to the DSL since getting the house on Friday, tells you it’s going to be awhile. Computer-wise, I’ve got a monumental task in front of me. I have to rewire several rooms, decide what to do about what will go in my office, and generally create what I have on paper as our ideal setup. But that’s all just way down on the list of things that need to be done. Today was ceiling fan day and Sunday was blinds day. Saturday was help the movers day (they were a bit under staffed so I figured I better get some extra exercise and give them a hand). Not too unexpectedly, the garage is a total wreck.
I’ll be sure to post more as we eventually attempt to catch our breath. It’s still not sinking in yet — that we really live in Tennessee now.

Welcome to “The Hill”! You must have made the move to work at the LIfeway headquarters… would that be correct? Blessings on you as you get settled - if you are looking for some suggestions for a church home and community group, let me know…

I noticed you making fun of Ethos for reviewing our spa, so I clicked on your link and noticed you’ve just moved here. I want to offer you 20% off your first massage @ Izabella so you can see for yourself why Randy loves it here!
Don’t knock it till you try it.
And welcome to NashVegas!
