Cynthia McKinney — Proof That Anybody Can Get Elected to Congress

I’ve hinted before that there are total morons who have managed to get elected and that in general, it gives me hope that even I could get elected.  But maybe there is a “moron-factor” that I am not aware of that allows people like Cynthia McKinney to spend 11 years in Washington D.C.  I’m sorry, but I am so tired of people like her playing the race card.  It isn’t like she could ever say, “I am sorry. I messed up.” No, instead she rallies the troops and they make a federal case out of it — literally! I am so over it! And what’s worse, is that there are actually people who think she’s doing the right thing. Here is a statement in incorrect logic that McKinney’s lawyer continues to use. He has said that since they have statistics that prove that racial-profiling is “an epidemic in this country” that this is obviously a case of racism. Now he hasn’t said it that way. But when asked how they knew it was racially motivated, that was his response — that racial profiling was an epidemic. And then proceded to practically cry about how Representative McKinney is the victim.

Okay, hate to break it to you but just because you feel that racial-profiling in this country is an epidemic doesn’t mean that the capital security was doing their job out of racism. In fact, I live in Georgia. I know Cynthia McKinney’s name. I know what she’s done and said, but I wouldn’t have recognized her and I certainly wouldn’t have thought that a U.S. Representative actually would have hair looking like that or would dress that way.

I don’t care whether she pushed, shoved, slapped, hit, kicked, or spat on the guard. Whatever happened, she was not the victim. The guard was. The guard did his job and if anything, I’d say he’s the victim both of her physical backlash but more importantly he’s a victim because he’s white. It’s obvious she wouldn’t be whipping out the race-card if the guy hadn’t been white. So in reality, it seems to me that he’s technically being punished for the color of his skin and for doing his job.

Update: So this is what the race card actually looks like… very clever.
