Massive Site Changes And a Happy 2006
As of today, I am now merging the regular WilcoxZone (family stuff) and my ScW sub-site (political and other garbage) into one site. I was tired of having three different blogs to maintain. I wasn’t posting enough on either of them and Nobody really reads this stuff anyway. So I didn’t feel like this move would matter much to anyone else.
The really cool parts of the change are the new and improved permalinks which feature clean URL’s that search engines will like better and aren’t as ugly to look at and the fact that I’ll eventually be able to dish out content a little better. Speaking of content, I have ditched Blogger.com in favor of my own homegrown blogging system (that for now I will refer to as the Stupid Blog System for lack of a better name). Initially, there is some stuff that is seriously broken or missing, but I’ll get around to it. I wanted to start the year off with the new redo and I’ll add back the photos and other things as I get the chance. Peace.
