NCAA Bans Indian Mascots During Postseason
This is the kind of PC crap that we’ve come to expect from colleges and universities and now it’s the higher body of the NCAA pushing PC on them. I would just like to point out that if we continue to strive toward this lowest common denominator garbage, we’ll just end up at the very bottom. Where does this craziness end? As a person of somewhat recent Swedish decent, why can’t I get action on the removal of the “Vikings” as a mascot? But on the other hand, as part Lenni Lenape Indian (nobody believes me but I believe there is evidence to support the theory), can’t I say that I am offended that they want to remove Indian related mascots? In fact, I think that’s what you’ll be hearing from a majority of the Seminoles.
