Grayson’s Amazing Friends
Earlier this week, we had Julia, Lauren (twins age 7) and Emily (age 10) over for a couple of days. The girls are daughters of one of Grayson’s teachers — the ever popular “Miss Ellen”. As always, we had a busy but great time with them. Right before they left, Grayson had been having some stomach trouble and without getting into any real detail I’ll just say he ended up causing himself (or at least us) some embarassment. Julia and Lauren witnessed the whole event and yet within minutes they were arguing over who would marry him some day. Now let me tell you, that’s some serious love right there.
But it led Julia to ask another question, “will Grayson still have Diabetes then?” The quick answer is yes, but is it really the right answer? Am I too quick to discount a possible cure? Ellen piped up that maybe by then, someone will have a cure. Julia enthusiastically exclaimed that she would find a cure while also deciding that she never wanted to leave home so Lauren would get to marry Grayson.
