Only Part of Anti-Kerry Film to Air
I guess I had missed all the chaos and fuss over Sinclair Broadcast. In the article, it explains how Democratic senators, lawyers, stockholders, campaign officials, etc… are all up in arms over this.
“A POW Story: Politics, Pressure and the Media,” will examine the “role of the media in filtering the information contained in these documentaries, allegations of media bias by media organizations that ignore or filter legitimate news and the attempts by candidates and other organizations to influence media coverage,” the company said in a statement.
So basically, they are going to do what few news outlets have done and actually talk about some of the Swift Boat allegations as well as other bias issues in the media. For example, the swift boat allegations allegations have had no significant attention by the CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC crowd and yet those same organizations have aired the Kitty Kelley cocaine allegations. Obviously, this Sinclair news piece attempts to expose the bias in the media especially as it relates to the election. And because of it, we have the whole world up in arms that it isn’t fair (yet it hasn’t even aired yet). Where were the lawyers, the stock holders during the whole CBS and Dan Rather fiasco? Why weren’t people at CBS getting fired or deciding to quit because of the that piece? Basically, it’s because most folks in the media are on other side and now somebody (besides just Fox) is trying to expose them.
What’s amazing is that there are some people in the country and especially outside our country that think the media has a conservative bias. Unbelievable!
