Goodbye Comcast
Well, Comcast decided that due to a billing mistake, I was getting too good a deal for my high-speed internet. The two separate mistakes included modem rental feeds and the fact that I was not a cable subscriber. As it turns out, they feel I should have been charged $15 more than I currently pay. Minutes later, I signed up for Bellsouth DSL. The bad news is the change of email and web addresses. The good news is that motivated me to seek out a more permanent spot on the web. The new wilcoxzone.com domain shall soon be mine along with a decent amount of storage space for pictures and anything else I want. Next, I need to figure out how to do the auto-forwarding script to handle sending visitors to the new site once it is up.
