Spanish Elections and the War on Terror

The Center for Security Policy has a nice article on the Spanish elections and the War on Terror. In a related but somewhat more editorial article, Barbara Stock suggest that Poland (another of our strong allies now) could be the next victim of terror. I’m just personally surprised they didn’t go after England first. But the first article talks to that point by alluding to the historical significance of Spain. Ever since the whole war on terror started, I’ve been completely amazed at how little backbone people have for trying to do the right thing. More often than not, doing the right thing is harder than keeping the status quo.
