I figured FoxNews would have to run this story as well… frorm the the Associated Press — FOXNews.com - Top Stories - Shark-Bitten Surfer Girl Gets Prosthetic Arm. Ever since I had heard that she would return to surfing (and now has) I have been amazed. What a terrible thing to go through and still be able to get back in the water and do it again. Other (better) articles like this one at least reference her faith as a Christian. Now I’m sorry I missed some of her interviews on Oprah and other media appearances. Still, if I was her I would be asking to move to Colorado and just do the snowboarding thing. In the back of my mind now I wonder how that big church in Hawaii that my parent’s new pastor was at was ultimately involved in that family’s life out there. It would be interesting to know all the twists and turns of how she has been prepared by God to be bitten by a shark and then subsequently given the opportunity to share about her faith.
