Kudos to Kasper
While looking for a content management system for my company’s team web-site, I stumbled across an open source product called Typo3. I doubt we’ll be using it as it looks to be a little more complex than what we need (requiring MySQL and other things on which to run). What interested me was Typo3’s creator, Kasper Sk?rh?j. He’s a Christian and seems to have an interesting edge to him. While some might take offense at his cigar smoking appearance, It’s his kind of open and honest Christianity that we so desperately need in our world. It’s especially lacking in the internet and computer community. Folks need to be real about themselves and their faith… and it would be nice if we had a few “top minds” in computer science who were like this. I also found Kasper’s feelings on Christianity and open-source software quite interesting. I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone suggest that “open source” was the Christian thing to do. Regardless of how you feel about the details though, I can only say ‘Kudos to Kasper’!
