Liberalism and the Mac
After plugging my theory about liberalism and the Mac in my earlier post, I guess the idea isn’t so unique afterall, A Stray Thought: Are all Mac users left-wing Liberals?. The author has about the most eclectic musical tastes I know of. He likes Jon Gibson, Carman, and Prince. I personally like Jon Gibsons music… but I don’t get his idea that Jon Gibson is unliked by “traditional Christians” or that he is “liberal” because of his “black” gospel style. Whatever! Carman isn’t liked by folks because of his “earthiness” sound. He isn’t liked by some folks (like me) because he comes across irreverent and I think quite overly dramatic as well — as Brando and I say — “he is the Benny Hinn of Christian music”. So after that mind-boggling analysis it lends no credibility to him on any subject.
