A little more searching revealed in www.NFL.com - Washington Redskins Team News Danny Wuerffel has basically said he is tired of football. After the way he was treated recently I can’t blame him. I only wished as always that he could have proved the schmucks of this world wrong. But in the end, they would have just said “gee the former Heisman Trophy winner is looking good out there. He really knows Spurriers offense and that’s why he is able to succeed.” Or some crap like that… basically never admitting to being wrong or giving him any real credit.
